Baseball Girl Assessment General Feedback.

This is a very challenging piece of work to tackle so early in your use of photoshop.
Most of you have done very well. Bear the following points in mind:
Skin colour is hard to change substantially subtle changes are achievable.
There was no need to clone or paint on her hair, just colour replace.
If you want to pass photoshop off as an original photograph always deal in natural colors, especially for eyes.
Shadows are very rarely horizontal, imagine where the light source might be.
When you are using any editing tools in photoshop consider reducing the size of the brush.
Always undo errors immediately don't leave them until late.

While Mr B is in Wales and you are in a Classroom (Wed P5)

Wales - Welsh National Flag The Red Dragon

Read the photocopied chapter on representation (pages 30-41)
File it for future reference.
Do the activities that are not crossed out. Making record in your folders.
Then watch the clip below twice. While you are watching it make note on how men and women are represented and how are  Barry (Wales)  and Essex are represented.
Take note of sound, music, clothing, set, location, props, colour, camara shot, angle and movement. Try to avoid mentioning the dialogue.
Then write an essay with the title "The Representation of Gender and Region in episode 1 of Gavin and Stacey"
For homework type it up on your blog and illustrate points with stills from the clip.
